Was better than I expected, especially for what I paid. Nice clean rooms, nice bathroom and shower. Espresso machine in the room was good.

Great location, staff and rooms.

Just that the elevators seemed a bit slow. They run fine, but the wait times seem on the slow side. Also, the nexpresso was very good. I enjoyed the Portland coffee pods.

The location is perfect. The staff were friendly for the most part. The room was beautiful & very spacious. I love that the bathroom had a detached tub—perfect when you’re walking all day. I had two very minimal issues which were the valet parking & how the staff handled a specific situation. Valet parking is $60 a night which was clearly communicated to me. The valet staff are super friendly & very efficient. However, my partner & I noticed the amount of secure parking garages in the area for a third of the price. We were told there we wouldn’t be able to find any other parking in the area. I’m Canadian so $60/night is actually $85 for me. plus all the taxes and fees. The total came up to $300 USD in parking for 3 nights. That’s $420 CAD… (more than the actual hotel cost). My second issue arose on the first night. We had a connecting room where a group of young guys were staying next door. They were smoking cannabis in the room. The smell was VERY strong in our room. We told front desk & he said he’ll talk to them. He didn’t seem bothered whatsoever. He went up to their room & literally just said “no smoking.” It was a 5 second interaction. I wasn’t too pleased with the lack of a solution. I got sick that night as it affected my partner & I quite intensely. With that being said, I actually would stay here again. Other than one staff member, everyone else was super nice. The room was nice & location was good.

Really cool, independent hotel with great location in walking distance to everything. More 3.5 star than 4 star. Would not classify as a luxury hotel. Everything was clean, but bathroom a little dated. But it was large. My biggest gripe was when we went to breakfast at 10:50 am but was told it was closed ( was supposed to be open until 11). And breakfast was fairly expensive. Also had to get free water from front desk for coffee machine in room. In room water was $7! Staff was really friendly and helpful. Would recommend and stay again.
