It was a very clean room. The staff is extremely helpful and nice.

I've always wanted to go to the Outer Banks I finally made it there and the Travelodge was the best place to stay in my opinion. I'm sure there are more expensive and more inclusive but it met and exceeded my hopes for a good time. I highly recommend this Motel.

Let me say - the location can’t be beat if you’re going to play at the beach. There’s a public beach access right across the street - for the price, that’s great. When checking in, I needed to wait for about 10 minutes before the front desk person came back from whatever they were handling. The hallways were littered with trash bags and linens in front of nearly every room. Taking a shower was a dangerous affair - especially for children - as the temps would swing from ice cold to the hottest the water heater could go. For 3 nights, there was no housekeeping which means no towel service. Which means runs to the front desk. Great location. A place to sleep. Could be cleaner, could use an update, service could be better.

If cleanliness is important to you, I would not recommend staying here. We originally booked this hotel for a week, but after just one night, we checked out. The sheets were dirty, the towels had a terrible odor, there was hair in the bathtub, and there was residue on the toilet seat. The room felt so unclean that we were uncomfortable all night and couldn’t wait to leave. I do want to give credit where it’s due—the staff was kind, understanding, and refunded our stay in full. I debated whether to leave this review because they handled the situation professionally. In the end, though, I felt it was important to share our experience. No guest should have to worry about the cleanliness of their room, and I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through what we did.

The safety latch broken, room never cleaned, 6 light fixtures, one bulb. No ice bucket, front desk unable to help with either. Room door has a 1inch gap letting in daylight and heat. Elevator broke, trash not cleared from pool during Thursday-Sunday trip.

Very convenient for or short stay in Nags Head

Pool was great, cleanliness not so much…. When we arrived in our room there was a USED enema in the bathroom as well as pee in the floor around the toilet. We had informed the staff the toilet wasn’t flushing well. They said they would send maintenance and never did.
