we booked our room and payed for it up front. when we arrived we did not have reservations and had to pay again.
the rooms thermostat did not work the wi fi did not work there was no hot water and when we tried to call the front desk they did not answer. the front lobby was under remodel and was dirty. when we checked out we requested a receipt and were told the printer did not work that was the final straw we want our money back. both payments

Construction debris everywhere, some obstructing hallways. Unfinished carpeting covered with paint spray; new furniture in room not finished or attached as required to walls; tub not installed correctly so water would not flow to drain; shower walls apparently new had not been cleaned so gritty; no outlets accessible for chargers and not USB ports; stench from new paint and/or caulking was overpowering and what’s with the child sized commodes? If hotel really was. Quality Inn it missed that mark. If striving to become a member of the Hilton chain it is already failing.

The hotel is under renovations and the lobby was full of boxes and the hallway carpet was in terrible condition. That I understand. While both our rooms were nearly completed, they were not finished: brown butcher paper taped to cover a window, no chairs to sit, one bathtub so gross we could not step into it, damaged walls, paint splatters on bathroom floor, light fixtures wrapped in plastic. When we asked to be moved to a finished room, they refused - even though they had some - because we booked through Hotels.com. I paid $230 for two rooms and am very disappointed that we were not moved to a completed room. No customer consideration.

I had no idea they were under construction. The room they gave me was unfinished and had a musty odor. None of the amenities were in the room except a broken coffee maker. When I asked for a finished room, they wanted to up charge me.
