The first thing I saw when we walked in our room was a used kleenex and a wad of black cloth sitting on the counter by the coffee maker. Then I noticed the front of the feet on the dresser that the TV sits on was missing, so even the furniture wasn't in good condition. When we went to watch TV we couldn't find a channel that was allowed at first. Then I opened the drawer of the table between the beds and found the channel list on a piece of stained paper, as well as a clump of hair. The next day we went to the pool. Even though it is an indoor pool there were a lot of dead bugs floating in the pool, and we scooped out clumps of hair and fuzz about 5 times. After swimming my daughter wanted to dry her hair. Not only was the top of the hair dryer very dirty but it didn't work. When I went to get a shower in our room there was a bunch of hair in the tub. I'm not talking one or two pieces. I'm talking about enough that I had to clean it out with a kleenex, twice. The night we arrived I did try to call the front desk from the phone in the room but the "Front Desk" button on the phone didn't work, and there were no instructions on what button to push to get the front desk. I did push 0 but the phone just rang and rang with no answer. We were able to use the microwave, but it was difficult to fit our food in the fridge because there was so much ice built up around the freezer. Certainly not the best stay.

Let's start with the drawbacks. Upon arrival, you might think you have made a poor choice. The exterior is tired, not totally unkempt, but tired. The hallway carpets need replacing, some painting would not go amiss. I was a little worried as I went to the desk. But the desk area is clean and tidy, as was my room. Again, the carpet in my room needs replacing, but I believe it had been vacuumed and all was in order. Getting an indoor pool and hot tub is unheard of at the price point of this hotel. But well maintained. Could the hot tub be hotter? Sure. But for a public pool area, it was safer and pleasant. I would go back, and will when I am traveling this way. Thank you for an excellent stay.

Carpets in the room and hallways needed to be cleaned. Room we stayed in smelled terrible. The highlight was the shower, however towels were very small. I would never stay there again.

It's great for the price! Close to the highway. Plenty of parking lot. Feels safe and comfortable. Very clean bed sheets and blankets. I have zero complaints and satisfaction. 👍

First, go to a different hotel. There are better options 10-20 minutes in either direction on I-80. We did not end up staying at this location. The place is very run down even stepping in to the front lobby. The lobby area smelled like smoke. Probably didn't help that the front desk staff had been smoking at the front door. There is no way I would have eaten their breakfast there. It would have all tasted like smoke. Horrible setup. The front door itself is a potential fire hazard. This place desperately needs to be update. I went to access my room and the hall was probably the cleanest part of the hotel. The room had all kinds of stuff on the floor. If it was vacuumed they need to replace their vacuum. The one bed appeared to have had someone in it. There were brown finger type smudges on the wall by the night stand-I can't imagine what that would be have. Any complaint probably would not have yielded any better room. It was just an all around not good experience. Basic cleanliness seems to have disappeared. Live however you want in your home, but this is a business and should have higher standards. Especially when you are providing a service to guests. It really is not rocket science to make sure things are clean.

When I arrived at the roadway Inn, they had told me that the pool was closed due to no lighting in the pool area so we did not get to use those amenities until the next morning and the pool doesn’t open until nine and you have to be checked out by 11 so an hour of the pool was all we got to enjoy!! the Jacuzzi was pretty dirty and it was breaking apart. My daughter and my son-in-law cut their foot on a piece of the Jacuzzi that was coming up from the bottom!! The room was pretty dirty when I entered it. I always check my bed when I go into hotel rooms. The bed was fine. I didn’t find any kind of bugs, but the comforter to cover up with was shredded and the office had no other comforters for me to cover up with the air conditioner had a short circuit and was going on and off. It was kind of scary so we pretty much sweated it out or stay there cause we didn’t want to start a fire.
