This place absolutely should be closed. Those pictures had to have been taken when the Property first opened. Quality Inn should be ashamed to keep a place like this running. WHY!!! Do not stay here. The only people I feel sorry for is the staff to have to look people in the eye that have PRE-PAID for a stay here.

This hotel charges--not authorizes--a damage deposit for your stay. This means you don't see your money for ten days or more and you have to continually check to make sure that it actually is refunded. Any reputable hotel I've ever stayed in will authorize charges like this and not charge them unless there's actual damage. They're not at any more financial risk by doing this.
While everything else was acceptable (not great but acceptable), I would not stay here again. There are other hotels in Wichita in same price range that don't reach into your wallet like this.

No one at front desk on arrival. Sign said call this number for help. Help? I am checking in, I am not “asking” for help. In reality I am “helping” you by providing my information to process. The person was not in the bathroom, if so a sign is understandable. No, this is the process. The dude came down the stairs walking his dog and saw me waiting at the front desk. He was the desk clerk; that is the process. Dingy, dirty banana’s coffee and packaged muffins for breakfast nothing else

I wish it was possible to write this place lower than one star. Those standing water on the carpet in the hallway. The pool had a semi-permanent tarp over it with strange things growing on top of that. The room had water stains on the lower portions of the wall and the headboard and smelled moldy. The clerk sent us to another room because that one was so bad and the air conditioner did not work. We demanded immediate refund which was given

The swimming pool was closed so we couldn't swim. Our first room the air conditioner was broken but they moved us to another room.
