The pool hours were posted as 8am to 10pm but staff said the pool doesnt open till 9. Then opened it late

Check in is 3:00. Got to hotel at 8:30 and our scheduled room hadn't even been cleaned yet. This is on a Wednesday. We had arrived with a takeout dinner and had to eat in our truck. Upstairs cafe was offered but was a hassle as room is on first floor. Staff was nice. Room was ready in a half hour. Floors really creak when people on second floor walk.
