Was surprised to discover that we had a huge suite! It was inside so we could use their elevator to move our luggage. Had to leave before breakfast was served. Was happy to see hot air balloons in the distance as we loaded up the truck. Nothing says New Mexico like hot air balloons.

We recently stayed at Quality Inn & Suites Albuquerque West while traveling with our three boys (ages 4, 6, and 10). Overall, we had a good experience. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good with a decent selection, although it wasn’t anything exceptional. The pool was a highlight for our kids, who had a great time swimming and playing. My only significant complaint was the cleanliness of the room floors. After all three of my boys took showers and were getting ready for bed, their feet became noticeably dirty again just from walking around the room. I had them wash their feet a second time and carried them to bed to keep them clean. Out of curiosity, I took a wet towel and wiped down the floor, and the amount of dirt it picked up was surprising. The floor clearly needed a much more thorough cleaning. The friendly staff and family-friendly pool made a good impression, but the dirty floors were hard to overlook.
