Very small rooms

The floor had not been swept/vacuumed very well. After I took a shower, the bath mat was filthy on the bottom side that was against the floor.There was black mold in the caulking in the bathtub. The lamp bases were rusty. When we would leave or return, there was a strong scent of weed.

Very nice and respectful staff good complimentary breakfast prices are great this is my 2nd time staying here and i will be back!

I booked this hotel for my husband‘s business trip to Duluth. This hotel cost about the same his preferred hotel and provided a free breakfast and parking, so we thought it comparable. Pros: The facility is well kept and clean. Our room just next to the lobby area had a handicap parking spot in front of it. The air conditioning worked great. The bed was comfortable. Housekeeping was thorough and reliable. Cons: The breakfast provided was only okay. The boiled eggs in the refrigerator smelled old. There were no hot dishes, like scrambled eggs, potatoes, or bacon and sausage. The Wi-Fi was awful even near the lobby area. Because the smoking area was just outside the lobby door, the smell of cigarette smoke came in through our AC unit constantly. The door to the toilet and shower/tub area in our room was very hard to open and close. The snack machine in the lobby area was barely functional. Overall, this is an OK place to stay, and I know they were busy due to evacuate from Florida, but given a choice, we will stay elsewhere.

The smell when walking down the hallways and room were not inviting. I have scent sensibility and it was sickening for me. That should be considered when using items to cover smells instead of properly cleaning carpeted areas. Breakfast was not as advertised. My daughter has celiacs disease which means she CANNOT eat wheat flour. There were no hot items as advertised such as eggs, bacon or sausages, etc. her only choice was a boiled egg (already peeled-YUCK) or a banana. False advertising. Also bathtub was black and disgusting. We wore shoes to shower. Made clerk aware of this and he didn’t care. Access to lobby from outside was difficult as no one was at window to provide service. Would NEVER go there again.
