Run down, uncomfortable beds, really bad breakfast. Front office staff was very friendly but breakfast staff was not.

Quality would not be the word that I would use at this time. The only visible renovations seem to be in the lobby area.
My room was an inside king, small and cramped. There were blazing lights in the inner courtyard around the non functioning outdoor pool, and it was impossible to block the light entering the room at night . The heater worked sporadically, although maintenance did arrive after much pleading on my part.
I visit Taos for work every other week, and thought I would "give it a try". Never again

Terrible experience in here.. There was no exhaust fan in bathroom and it wad soo small and humid. The shower head was so low and it had no liners so it was water everywhere after shower.. The bedsheet had holes on it and there was no ventilation… The hotel staff was rude and wasn’t helpful at all. I wish I could get a refund It wasn’t worth 400$ for 2 nights at all

Terrible old hotel, furniture is probably from the 70s, ceiling pieces flap when doors are opened. Shower head is for short people, boyfriend is tall and doesn’t even fit in there, water changed from cold to hot and back every minute. Creepy, disgusting, worst hotel I’ve ever experienced and I travel quite a bit. Stay somewhere else.

Terrible experience. The room was very dark and very small windows dotted almost behind the feeling ( room 204). The worst part, the problems with the hot water. I was going to take a shower and I was getting only cold water. I called the front desk and they told me they needed 20 min. Finally I got hot water, I was in the middle with soap and shampoo already in my hair … and I ran out of hot water.
I called the front desk and they told me that customer that do not get a room directly from the hotel (3rd parties like hotels.com) they do not get the best rooms

It’s quiet and I rated it because my heater was leaking and I had to move to another room and it smelled awful. I had to bare it I was not going to move rooms again. They won’t even offer a discount.😞
