Nice room with lots of room. Free breakfast. Price wasn’t bad either. Would definitely stay there again.

I NEVER right reviews but this is more than worthy. We were attending a wedding and stayed 2 nights. My family stayed in 2 rooms, 240 & 238. Both rooms had roaches! I was actually able to get a picture in room 238. My teenage kids in room 240 saw roaches in the bathroom but did not get pictures. We weren't in the rooms until late night, so i did not catch it until the last night around midnight. I did show the manager on duty the next morning the picture of roaches. I was told to contact Hotels.com. We were given a total of $50 credit from the hotel! Ridiculous! Hotels.com decided to match that, totaling $100 on a $600 expense! I spoke to the Corporate Hotels.com and they were not accommodating. They wanted to give me points, which I refused because we don't travel often and this was a special occasion. They gave me 2 options, take the points or refuse and close the case. Wow! I tried calling the manager at the hotel as well, I was always told to call at a certain time. Although, every time I called it just so happen that I missed her or she was not there. Supposedly she is the sole mage of the establishment. So when I asked to speak with someone higher up, no one is available. Very convenient for them! I'm writing this review a couple weeks later because I was hoping for a better outcome prior to me writing a review. I was told by a Hotels.com agent that roaches in the room aren't that big of a deal to escalate for a refund more than $50!

The photos of the property and the rooms were a little misleading. The property is not as up to date as they appear to be in the photos online.

Old, no elevator, very dated decor, non working hairdryer fishing dock is nice, mystery breakfast meat.
