Always clean, nice breakfast

The staff was amazing, I will give them that as an above average score. Sadly, everything else was subpar. First of all I had an “accessible” room, and the only thing accessible about it, was the 2 rails that had been install around the toilet which were in useable due to their positioning. It had a seat in the tub with the smallest lip to keep the water in the shower, with no drain in the main floor of the bathroom. Worst of all the toilet. It was a standard toilet. As someone who has trouble walking and standing it was like sitting on the floor. Once on the toilet and finished it was awful trying to get up due to the improperly placed rails and the low toilet. I didn’t eat breakfast, or go into the hot tub. The room was decently cleaned and if we needed anything towels/extra linen the staff was happy to help.

They sleep was wonderful as they are known for pillows and beds that focus on sleep but as far as any other things it was not worth the stress. No real breakfast, no english speaking counter employees which made extending our stay a stressful issue because of the language barrier, no amenities because they are supposedly in construction and no ice. I would NEVER stay her a single female. It was a scary feeling from each moment I walked in and the doors look like they've been broke into with crowbars. 😳 I was greatful my large husband was with me because I didnt see any women on staff and felt very watched without many smiles. I didnt feel like I was even in America. Honeslty it just left me and my husband with feeling sketchy. And definitely as a women I wouldnt stay alone there EVER.

Room very clean. Not an enough counter space for outside sink of bathroom area. Very nice shower. Staff very sweet and accommodating. Breakfast could be improved in several areas. Coffee very good. We did not use pool or hot tub. It looked fine. Felt safe.

Pro-nicely updated and modernized in the rooms. Everything was clean and tidy. No smells. Cons-there is a train not too far from the hotel near the back. The sliding window had no screen nor lock-not an ideal situation especially for somebody traveling solo.

The motion sensor lights in the room have got to be addressed. It is crazy to be in the bed sleeping (or tying) and the lights keep coming on all night. I tried to find a way to cover the sensor, no such luck. I couldn’t undo the lightbulb so I resorted to covering the light with towels. At checkout they asked how the stay was and I mentioned the lights coming on all night. A staff member said they knew about the problem and that I could of taped something over it.I feel like if you are aware of a problem like this, either fix it or inform the guest at check in of how to avoid the problem. Yes it’s nicely remodeled and clean, and nice staff, but hard to give a better review when it was almost impossible to sleep.

My children were in the hot tub and were approached by a creep. He was touching himself and asking them inappropriate questions and then proceeded to ask where we lived. We went up immediately to the front desk to complain and nothing was ever done. I have never felt more unsafe at a hotel in my whole life. We left earlier than planned because of this. I definitely will spend more money to go to somewhere that cares about the well being a safety of their guests!
