Staff is great, pool is nice and clean. Heat/AC unit made annoying noise when fan went off, reported to mgmt on leaving, and maintenance was going to check. Also, sliding door to toilet/shower won't close completely due to hitting door jamb. Great location!

Chose this motel for location close to hospital and Southgate Mall. Small side-street, no traffic. Helpful, friendly staff. The room's heater/fan had a thermostat and seemed to work fine. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. There was a sharp edge on the desktop that needs to be repaired. We could not figure out the TV control, and the staff was helpful, but this TV system was not the best setup. The dining area was small and overcrowded at peak breakfast time, but meal options were good. The room had a refrigerator and microwave - we used both. Will stay here again.

It was fine. I'm just used to something different. I think this was about average for Choice Hotels? I stayed in one other and it was about this level. It's in a rougher area than I expected. The pool and hot tub are clean and ready, but a large group hogged it the whole weekend. The breakfast is set up every morning, but lower quality than other hotels I've used. The rooms are nice enough. The shower was fun though, it's large and round, I bet you could fit 3-4 people in there if you were inclined to do so? Ha ha... The property is well maintained and staff are friendly.
