We couldn’t have asked for a better stay at BlueBird Lake Placid. The location is absolutely perfect—just steps away from Main Street and Mirror Lake, making it easy to explore everything the town has to offer. The hotel itself feels like the ideal mountain retreat, with a design that captures the cozy charm of a cabin while still being modern and comfortable. It struck the perfect balance of rustic and stylish and made our trip feel truly special. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Lake Placid!

Beautiful place, cozy lobby, cute bar. Great location within walking distance to plenty’s of bars and great restaurants. Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful hotel with many great indoor gathering spots to hang out and enjoy the view of Mirror Lake. The rooms were spacious, although a bit sparse. Super comfortable beds and every TV channel you can imagine! The location cannot be beat here as it is right at the top of Main Street. So many shops and restaurants are within walking distance, as is the Olympic Museum, and the views are breathtaking! The staff was very friendly and welcoming as well. I definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone, and will absolutely be making a return visit in the near future!

Great Location

It was okay

The room was a lake view but not really a decent lake view. The room was large but there was no chairs to sit within the room. The fridge was the smallest dorm room fridge possible and the microwave was also the smallest, least powerful microwave possible and no coffee machines in the rooms. The TV remote was faulty and with no chairs the TV mounted on the wall was uncomfortable to watch from the bed. I'd love to go back to Lake Placid but this will not be the place I would choose to stay again. My wife disliked the shower as to turn it on you have to turn the faucet while the water, cold water starts to spray on you and took forever to warm-up if you are the first in. The shower had no shelves to place your own toiletries. The breakfast was served from 8 am to 10 an versus starting at 7 am, we have things to do.

redone hotel. Rooms were a nice size only issue was the TV could only be watched from the couch and not the bed. Also there are no coffee machines in the room. Need to go downstairs to make your coffee which was OK but our last morning there were no coffee pods except decaf. Not a happy camper.

Breakfast could use improvement

Rooms not cleaned as expected. Basic breakfast, 4.5/10

Close to downtown and shops. Rooms were clean and lots of room.Staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming.
