The overall remodel came out satisfactorily. The food is still excellent what a great chef and the accommodations were very comfortable. Special recognition to Troy Yearby as an outstanding hands on Restaurant Manager because he was present at all times making everything as perfect as it could be.

Perfect place to go for a staycation. Lovely and great area to walk to restaurants and retail.

The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. The valet service was especially efficient - we never waited more than 2 minutes for our car! The hotel even has a courtesy car for close-by restaurants or shopping! Our room was HUGE and very comfortable - the a/c was the best I’ve ever felt, especially for the hot, muggy weather. I look forward to returning to this wonderful hotel!

This was our first time at Granduca-Houston, our history with the brand dates back to the opening of Granduca-Austin and countless stays over the years. Granduca-Houston did not disappoint. It was luxurious, but not trashy/gaudy, as some Houston hotels in the area tend to be, quiet, staffed with good people and loaded with useful amenities. We travel to Houston frequently and the Granduca will be a welcomed respite while in town.

INterior renovation is fabulous but exterior is still a bit shabby. Particularly pool area.

Boutique hotel in the heart of Houston, Texas. An Oasis with staff that are trained to please their clients. Beautiful property and great food and atmosphere.

Hotel is very convenient and beautiful. Our stay was great. Room was convenient and clean. Beds are very comfortable with great white bedding. Bathroom was big and nice. Bar area is excellent and lunch the provided was very tasty. It was very very nice stay. Thanks

On Expedia shows a certain caliber of reviews and stars for the quality of the hotel and the service just did not match what was promised. The service in general was very slow. Between the valet service and request requesting things from the front desk I always had to call twice. Additionally, I went to the bar and the bartenders were also very slow and it was not even full. It was only myself and another couple at the bar. I also thought that the hostess of the restaurant was very rude and not very warm and are welcoming. My room also had issues such as tile that is separating from the walls in the bathroom and every time you shower, the floor of the bathroom would flood. Additionally, I requested a late checkout and I was told it would be an additional $100 and when I still requested only one hour difference in the late checkout housekeeping was still barging into the room unannounced, even though hours before I had notified the front desk, I wanted a late checkout.
