Short but excellent stay.
Stayed one night for a family event in Houston. Room was spacious and nice. Staff was friendly. The location of the hotel was convenient and it was easy checking in and out. We enjoyed our stay.
Incredible food, very nice staff, great ambience.
We love staying at this hotel when we go to Houston. We meet with family there and at least once during our stay invite everyone to the hotel for a fabulous dinner or lunch.

The hotel is undergoing renovations which were not made known PRIOR to booking or arrival. Amenities that contribute to higher hotel star ratings were not available. However, despite this we were stll charged premium rates from Hotels.com and the Hotel Granduca had similar rates.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
The room was comfortable.
According to staff, renovation is supposed to conclude by early December.
Would stay again AFTER renovations. But definitely not worth the rate per night right now.

We love The Granduca! It is our home away from home! When you check in ask for Alica!! She is the best! She will calmly and patently take care of you. This stay we had an unfortunate check in when Thu interrupted and abruptly told us there were no other rooms. Thu is not for everyone. We got a room after I had to point out that I had just seen my friend release her two rooms.All the staff is so warm and friendly.
