Started out in a room with a horrific smell - and most of the bathroom fixtures loose and wobbly. There was a damp smell on the entire floor. It was nauseating.
Once we reported the issue with the front desk, they worked quickly to get us moved - the second room was a great improvement and reset the whole tone of our stay.
Breakfast was just okay - no offerings for anyone with allergies or restrictions of any kind. Juice wasn't good. Appreciated the fruit that was available the last couple days.
The neighborhood wasn't exactly classy, but we never felt unsafe. It was well lit and was within 10 minutes of airport and 15 minutes to downtown - which was really nice.

After check-in, I always inspect hotel rooms for cleanliness before I bring by travel bags into the room . The rooms at this hotel are sparkling ✨clean. 👍

Clean and the staff was very nice and accommodating. Hotel is dated and right next to a very loud highway. Traffic noise 24/7. Very expensive during Derby! Probably will stay elsewhere next trip.

Came for Derby and paid a very high price for this place, ($600/night!) Way overpriced for the quality of hotel.
If you want to sleep in the middle of a freeway and listen to it all night, this is your place. Also, the in room amenities are non-existent. There is a little coffee maker but they give you paper cups and only one pre-filled coffee filter per day!
We will not be coming back.
