I choose a location midway between various destinations with the requirement of cost-friendly and an outside pool. I have stayed in a motel-style establishment less than five time in my life.
I was warmly greeted upon arrival. While a bit dated, the facility is clean and well maintained. The staff was pleasant and helpful throughout my stay.
The pool lounge chairs should definitely be replaced, but not a joy killer. The only significant down was that the room had a dank smell. I opened the door in the the Texas heat hoping to air it out. Turning on just the fan setting when being out of the room helped, but the high condensation in external/internal temps did what physics do. Aside from that, I would visit again.

I have been staying here off and on for 3 months. The rooms are always clean. Never seen any bugs. Very well lit up at night. Security cameras around the building. I’m planning to continue staying here for work.
