Room was very dirty. Unknown hair, dust, grime, and ?black mold in the bathroom were a bit much. No consistency in beds, one queen bed was soft, the other firm. I will say, the pillows were amazing. AC didn't work. I was told they reset it, but still didn't work for the second night. Tried to swim in the pool. They sell swim memberships to locals so the pool was a bit crowded. The older folk who were lap swimming didn't want bothered by hotel guests and were very rude and unaccomodating. To the fact that one yelled at another guest for being in "his lane" when the guest was also lap swimming. The "locker room" had articles of clothing everywhere. Felt like I was at an unfriendly public pool. The firepit looked beautiful nice, but no fire?? To sum it up...miserable nights sleeping and half-usable amenities did not make my stay worth it

I was in town for a wedding & stayed at the Aurora Inn. For an older building, it was in great condition. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable & I had everything I needed for my stay. The front desk staff was wonderful. The allowed me to check in 30 minutes early to change clothes in order to get to the church for the wedding I attended. The ease of check in & check out was appreciated.

The staff was wonderful with the exception of one person at the front desk on our last day. When we checked we were told we would get a $10.00 coupon per day for the dining and could accumulate until the last day and use them all at once. However on the last day we went to the desk to collect and with no other explanation the women was kind of rude and just stated that our room didn’t qualify for that. I just think all employees should be on the same page! Other than that everyone was extremely helpful and kind. The cleanliness was wonderful as was the food.

Lovely boutique hotel ! Super charming and very pleasant staff.
