Elko NV Travelodge

To start with, the smoke detector was removed from the room. There was mold all in the bathtub and the bed was extremely hard. The coffee pot still had coffee in it from the previous guest so it looks like the room hadn’t been cleaned with the exception of the beds being made.

Strengths:
Affordable, conveintly loacated in Elko, overall clean rooms.
Weaknesses:
Hallway carpet was needing replacing, though room carpet was fine. Breakfast was good, but not well stocked with juices and other items. Receptioninst was great on check in, but afterwards was not as attentive as I would like. Sink stopper was missing in both rooms I booked. Screen on window was torn so that window could not be opened without allowing bugs in. Window shade was torn and let light in at night. Not huge deals, but with some easy fixes, stay experience would be improved.

The breakfast was amazing with great choice for a grab and go meal. They had biscuits and gravy, eggs, cereal, pastries, bagels and yogurt to name a few. They also had it laid out early as we had a 5am departure. The staff is friendly.
