The hotel was good for the price. Non smoking room was good sized, with great water pressure. Jay was professional yet accommodating and settled us into a room near a family member without being asked. The only downside to our stay was a wraparound plastic mattress cover that crinkled and made noise everytime we moved. Due to the plastic we were also sweating and sticking to the bottom sheet. Neither of us slept for more than an hour or two at a stretch on either of the nights we stayed.

Having mistakenly booked Travel lodge in Mansfield USA rather than Mansfield UK, it was impossible to cancel the booking. The systems made it impossible to cancel in advance.
