We tried this hotel…the rating was very good. Don’t believe it! The room was filthy, the guy checking us in was not at all friendly. The pillow case had stains on it, the carpet needed vacuuming and the room smelled awful. No elevators. Only stay here if you like to hear trains running all night and doors slamming. This place needs condemned.

When I checked in the hotel said that my card had been declined and I had not paid for the room. However, I had paid for the room through Hotels.com. I have a receipt from them and I show the deduction from my checking account. I did not have enough money to pay for the room again, so I ended up having to drive home late at night because I had nowhere to stay. I tried to get a hold of someone at Hotels.com and was on hold for more than an hour before I gave up. Hotels.com owes me a refund and in my opinion, a free night somewhere at some point in the future. If they do not make this right, I will never book through them again. Actually, even if they do try to make it right, I won’t book through them again because I can’t put myself in this type of situation again I no longer trust , their company. And the fact that I couldn’t get a hold of anyone when I really needed to is some thing I can’t overlook. I have used Hotels.com many times and never had a problem. I don’t know what went wrong but something did and I was forced to drive home late at night. The hotel said there was nothing they could do and that I would have to speak to someone at Hotels.com. I feel like the hotel could have tried to help figure the situation out.
