The hotel was in a great location and the staff was really nice. Nice place for a comfortable stay while exploring the city.

The room was small, but clean. The hotel has a bed and breakfast feel to it. Staff was courteous and room temp was good.

Clean room, very friendly and helpful staff

An old hotel which is quite well maintained and clean. The staff was friendly and guided us the "self checkin" process. The breakfast was good. We like the location which is close to Union Square and Chinatown. The room is ok and we did not like the noisy air conditioning and the old bed frames and mattresses.

Room has a constantly loud machine-like noise. Not sure if its the outdoor unit for a nearby room, or the electrical room, or something else. The noise was loud even after we turned off the AC and all windows. Had a bad night of sleep due to it.

Clean room and hotel, friendly, kind staff, (Punya- front desk especially welcoming and went up and above to make sure our stay was great) The king bed and pillows were the best ever!! So super comfy!! We got the greatest sleep!! Breakfast good and hot. A/C nice and cold. Old world charm building. Close to Union Square.

This is a cute hotel in a very walkable location. I was mere steps away from a cable car stop. Nice and quiet. I'd definitely stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel for six days and checked out at 2:00 a.m. this morning. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be staying here again. During my stay, I went to the front desk to speak with the young lady about the condition of my room and asked if it was possible to switch rooms because mine had not been properly cleaned. I took numerous photos documenting the unacceptable condition of the room. What disappointed me most was the lack of concern or effort to resolve the issue. Rather than trying to accommodate my request, I was simply told that she needed to contact the manager, who was away for two weeks due to an emergency, and that she didn't know when the manager would respond. As a guest staying for nearly a week, I expected a clean room and a timely effort to address my concerns. Instead, I felt dismissed, and my issue was left unresolved. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel. FYI: you have to pay 40.00 for housekeeping and the room isn’t even cleaned good. My room was full of dust and my voice was not heard.
