We stayed over for the marathon weekend in Bangor and had two rooms- one with carpet and one with new flooring. The carpet room had a smell... glad they are switching over to faux wood flooring! This is an older hotel, but the it was just fine for us. beds were comfy and sheets fresh and clean. They were very accomodating with our need to check out later as marathon began at 7 am- we needed an extra hour so my son could shower and get on the road back home five hours away. thank you!

Staff and visitor Hospitality was fantastic! We were an overnight stay this time, but will definitely keep the Fireside on our schedule stay over next year but plan to stay over 2 nights at minimum. Great place to great people!

It was very nice. I’ve stayed here a few times now. Always nice. There’s a good restaurant just in from the front desk. They do not, however, deliver to your room.
I have 2 dogs, they have a good grassy area(they provide waste bags and can). But, it is not lit up at night. Very creepy at night.
It’s a good location if you want to take in a concert on the waterfront or go to the casino.
There is plenty of parking.
