My husband's family has been coming to the Coho for decades! When my mother-in-law passed away this past June, she was able to share that one of her final wishes was to have some of her ashes spread near the Coho on the beach. We were able to fulfill this request for her the first week of October. We initially called the hotel several months prior to our dates and were able to receive the rooms that met the needs for us traveling as a large family unit. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with kindness and exceptional customer service. Our rooms were all right to each other and we had beautiful balcony views overlooking the firepits and of course the ocean! The rooms were cozy and we appreciated the amenities in each room to be able to have a fridge, microwave and two burner stove for heating water in our French press and the little comforts of having a mini kitchen. The bathroom was cozy, it was nice to have a large bathroom. The bed was comfortable and we were able to get very restful sleep during our stay. When we weren't outside or walking on the beach, we were enjoying our view from our balcony. Rooms were clean and housekeeping services were wonderful. We loved being able to get locally owned coffee available at the front desk and reach out whenever we might have needed something. Staff was helpful! As a family, we enjoyed the continental breakfast and were appreciative of the variety that was provided. The firepits were a wonderful place to unwind and relax. This trip was very important to us as a family to carry on my mother in law Connie's legacy, but one that also will allow us to continue our grief journey with the memories of how pleasurable of a stay we had here. We will continue to be guests here and know that we have left our loved one in the comfort and serenity of such a place. Highly recommend!
