This hotel needs to be updated and it is still a pleasant place to stay. I appreciate the wood floor, rather than carpet. The breakfast was good with a great coffee machine. The man behind the desk was very friendly.

Nice staff, the Inn is clean. The location works for my needs and it's reasonably priced. The breakfast is much improved and they offer good coffee. The sunset views are stunning over the Hudson River. The property is pet friendly, which is what I need.

Room was clean, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and location was perfect; beautiful view of Hudson River and 10 minute walk to metro north train station (for easy transport to NYC).

The staff is okay. They are very rude when it comes to morning times they knock early when you are still sleeping....

Didn’t feel safe too many drug abuse in the air. Walls were too thin and since we had a neighbor who decided to blast his TV at 1 am till 3am we had to report him. The room reaked of smoke.

My stay at Inn on the Hudson was extremely distressing and unprofessional. I was traveling with my two young children (ages 4 and 2) and had a confirmed reservation through a third-party booking site. Upon arrival, the staff initially refused to honor the reservation and made check-in unnecessarily difficult. During our extended stay, I was unexpectedly called and told to check out immediately, despite being informed previously that my stay extended to the following day. When I questioned this, the staff threatened to call the police—and then did so—while I was still legally occupying the room and staying with my children. The situation was handled with no empathy, no clear communication, and no regard for the safety or well-being of a family with young children. The experience was humiliating, stressful, and completely avoidable with basic professionalism. I would not recommend this property, especially to families or anyone expecting respectful treatment and clear communication.

Heating was loud and inefficient. Bathroom smelled like urine. The room looks like the last remodel was decades ago, and was done by a blind contractor with two broken hands. The room had damage to a wall, and everything was generally not clean. Overall horrible waste of money, not to mention the noise from the trains and neighboring rooms.
