The Carlton Hotel Atascadero is reminiscent of elegant times past. My room was classy and very clean. I would stay there again whenever I get the chance.

They were sincerely interested in our comfort and happiness. Anything that needed attention, was taken care of immediately.

What a splendid hotel!!! Gorgeous historic property with all the latest amenities. Every room is beautifully decorated, as is the lobby. Our room had a lovely private area on the patio. Staff was warm and welcoming and very helpful. Location is terrific - within walking distance to a variety of dining experiences. Wish we had stayed more than one night. Highly recommended!!!!!!!

Beautifully renovated hotel, rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The jacuzzi tub in the bathroom was great. We visited the Mabel restaurant/bar. Bartender was friendly and made great drinks . We had some appetizers and they were delicious. Evening check in staff was very welcoming. Everything is so pretty!
