Hotel and Historic Landmark.
Though currently under partial construction and a Marriott makeover, this hotel is a gem. Fixtures, furniture, ambience transports guests back to a time when hotels were opulent. Well worth a stay.

What a lovely hotel! Staying at Hotel Carlton felt like being transported back in time to another era. Beautifully decorated room and furnishings. A perfect escape from reality. Definitely worth staying if traveling through the area.

The room, bed & bathroom, and size of the room were very nice. The toilet had a slight smell around it, but I’m sure that will be fixed. For an older hotel, I thought it was very nice and would stay here again as the location is perfect as well. I don’t do 3 stars or below, because I like to feel safe and comfortable in an uber clean environment. This hotel checked all the boxes for this snobby traveler. The staff were all very very kind and helpful as well.

Nice hotel, the premium room w king bed was huge w high ceilings. Only downside was the connected restaurant or bar area is being renovated, and the main street in front of hotel is under construction
