Room was clean. The floor slopped towards the window at a good angle. Elevator was creaky. No glass in the bathroom. The hallway smelled musty or like smoke really heavy. Enamel was missing in the tub. Breakfast was good. Staff was not very friendly.

Dirty and unkept.

The rooms were not clean at all. Bathroom was disgusting. All the floors were nasty. If I could have checked out within the first 10 minutes I was there I would have. Will NEVER stay at this hotel again.

Other guests in the hotel were noisy. running up and down the hallways, slamming doors, loud talking at 5am. I needed an extension for 2 additional days. I was told to make a reservation for the 2 days. Made the reservation only to be told that I couldn't get the room for the 2 additional days, so I was charged a reservation fee. I ended up checking out early to find a different hotel.

This LaQuinta right outside of downtown was tucked away quietly on top of a hill. Amenities were up to date. Clean and comfortable rooms. The nearby Wal-Mart and Huddle House were very convenient if their breakfast is not sufficient for you. Will definitely keep in mind next time I'm in Rome.

The lobby had a very strong chemical odor. The room ac vent and farther dan vent were covered with dust and the floor looked like it was not mopped. The shower was very slippery and my husband almost fell when he stepped into the tub. There was a few strips on grip tape in the tub but not enough (he is only 40 so I would be careful if there were elderly people renting the room). The staff were nice tho.
