Hurricane Beryl savior! Without this hotel I would not be able to get back on my feet so quickly. The service was impeccable and though all employees were likely impacted they showed up and did an impeccable job.

Marriott Price Gouging.
The stay was fine and the room was adequate. The truly disheartening issue with this stay was the price gouging during a weather emergency and power outage. The charge was almost $900 for one small room with two queen beds and a tiny shower. We moved to the Hotel Zaza the next couple nights for a full 800 square foot suite, with dining table, etc. for 1/2 the price. The Hotel Zaza did not price gouge and left their prices the same as usual. They are a true Houston hotel that doesn't take advantage of its community during a time of crisis unlike the JW Marriott. I am so disappointed in the JW for their corporate greed and utter lack of community loyalty.
