The staff as very cordial, but the room condition was not as good as it should have been.
The handle to flush the toilet wasn't working properly and I had to fiddle with it to make it work.
I stay in Red Roof motels because I travel with my dog this Red Roof is certainly not a PLUS+ one!!

No Internet available. TV was fine. The room smelled like not quite cleared tobacco/dope smoke. No room service (make beds, fresh towels...etc). Furniture and fixtures were pretty shabby and there was rust from the toilet seat bolts visible in the floor. S

I'd stayed at this Red Roof several years ago, and it has clearly since declined significantly—possibly a long-term vestige of COVID—while the structure and set-up are basically the same, the place hasn't really been kept up. The elevators smelled of mold, the walls are not at all sound-proof, and a couple of the towels had clear stain marks (albeit small). Yes, this was the most economical of the area hotels, but it was as basic as it gets for the price, and paying a few extra bucks for a more comfortable experience may be worth it.
However, the front desk attendants were lovely and courteous both at check-in and -out!
