Clean & Quiet Hotel Convenient To The University
The location is convenient to the university. The room was clean and the staff were all polite and helpful so they managed to check all the big boxes. It isn't a fancy place but it's clean and quiet.

Room was clean. The only redeeming quality of this place. The key system is totally disfunctional. It took the maintenance man 6 times to open my door so I was afraid to leave after that. Groups of men hanging out on the balconies, empty shopping carts in the parking lot. I didn’t feel safe

Stayed on the first floor. There was a large gap on the bottom latch side of the door, the vinyl flooring between the beds is in need of replacing and the exhaust fan in the bathroom was filthy. Caulking around tub/ shower walls and tub floor was done by someone using a caulk gun for the first time. Room is surface cleaned at best. 1st and last time staying at a red roof inn. Was not where we wanted to stay but choices were limited. It provided a safe place to sleep that is a step up from a car at a truck stop.

The property needs a definite clean up, the lobby feels like it's in a dangerous area and is so unwelcoming
The locks on the room doors did not work well and we had to be given a demonstration from the person in the lobby on how to hold the card just right so it would open, it took several trys every time
this hotel gets a lot of business from parents coming to see their children at the university, they charge phenomenal fees during the busiest weekends they should provide a nicer room and grounds
