Nice rooms, clean and friendly.
I needed a hotel that would take a small dog. I am so glad I found the Red Roof Plus hotel at the Miami airport. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The grounds were well taken care of. Free breakfast was nice, cereal, waffles, bread, pastries, juices and fruit. They have a fantastic dinner food truck that is there until 1:00am. I was on the first floor which was very quiet. If I go back to Miami I will stay there again!

Airport Shuttle
Our flight got cancelled at the last minute so we were able to secure a room at this hotel. It had an airport shuttle.

This hotel/motel has so many issues. I would never recommend anyone to stay here. The place looks old, even has a smell to it. When we checked in we told the front desk before we stepped out the AC is leaking in our room. We were gone for 9 hours and no one came to fix it. On top of that when we got back at 10 pm we found out the elevator was broken and my mom who just had knee surgery had to walk up 5 flights of stairs. My husband had a sprain knee and could not walk up those stairs. My family had to carry all the luggage upstairs to notice the water leak was still not fixed. When we called maintenance they said we need to change rooms. I will be speaking to the manager as we paid a good chunk of money and all the inconveniences did not help since we had a flight at 4 am . ON top of that they had absolutely no water dispenser or water machine for their guests. There was only one person working at the front desk and I had to stand in line for 30 mins before I could even ask her to change the rooms! Absolutely a night mare. I would avoid this place at all costs!

Stephanie was wonderful, she helped get me situated with shuttle service to cruise port and with many issues with my room keys. There was a young gentleman that helped me check in and he was nice, but didn’t tell me the dryers were not working in the laundry room.

Looks like its where are the junkies stay... bathroom toilet was broke just ran all night, tub was nasty as well i just washed up from the sink. There was hair all over the floor like no one has swept. No pictures on wall. Curtains was off track... and the room has this metal lamp over top of our beds that reminds you of jail. Best way to describe the experience was bates hotel and any other scary motel movie... Stay somewhere else people, its one thing to just need a renovation but this place is disgusting sleep and get the heck out.. I like red roof but this one has horrible management..

Front desk staff was not friendly at all. Had to pay $11 to park. They did have a good truck that way very good.
