The door was missing the security latch, bathroom vent was missing the ceiling cover, a hole in the bathroom door, sticky residue on the door and an odd sour, chemical odor in the room (not cigarette or marijuana). No bugs and sheets appeared clean. Trash and shopping cart upon stair landing at arrival was still there in the morning. If I hadn’t arrived so late, I would have taken the time to find something more safe and suitable for a 6 hour sleep stop. I would not recommend unless you have a drug habit.

When you have the abilities to rent or lease a hotel room to certain types of people or not, you need to exercise that option to tell people whom can stay at your hotel or not. These people running this particular Red Roof hotel were just filling the rooms with some of the trashiest people I have ever been around in my life! This made my feel very uncomfortable and also at times unsafe. This hotel needs to be cleaned up badly before I would ever stay at there again

We knew not to expect the standard of a starred hotel, but we were still pretty disappointed. We rented 2 rooms for our family. - Our “non-smoking” room smelled heavily smokey. - The bedsheets and covers had cigarette burn marks. - The one TV never worked. The second TV did not work the second night. - The lamps were cracked. - We found hair hanging from the shower walls. - The keys frequently stopped functioning. - The front clerk was not honest in his dealings when we called after our trip. “I told the customer XYZ when he did not.” - Red Roof Inn customer service did nothing about our complaints. FYI - There were homeless people walking the grounds. - The grounds were overgrown. The outdoor stair covers were in disrepair. - The cleaning staff used local shopping carts to transport sheets. I did not see a professional cleaning cart.

Towels and sheets had stains on them and they were supposed to be clean?? Overall just plain dirty. Not at the experience I had there a few years ago. Would not return

I needed a quick no frills place to stay for the night due to an air conditioner failure on a hot, July evening. Red Roof delivered without breaking the bank. Easy and convenient. Friendly staff. Clean, comfortable room. I recommend Red Roof Inn Aberdeen, Maryland…
