Red Roof Inn Mystic - New London
707 Colman Street, New London, CT 6320
Great Value!
We needed just an overnight stay. It was very accessible. Parked our car in front of the door. It was a room with a king bed and that’s all we needed. Above all it was clean. Couldn’t beat the price either.

The room was filthy. Both beds had stains on the fitted sheets. There was no iron or ironing board in the room. The room smells like marijuana and outside the room smelled like urine. We were in the room for 10 to 15 minutes total and then went and turned in our key and said we would not be staying here and they refuse to refund my money. Do not I advise you to do not stay at this hotel. It’s nasty.

It was horrible the room smelled like cigarettes smoke dogs barking in the middle of the night and seemed to occupy monthly residents.

Very disappointing, pictures seem to be a different property. Very poorly maintained, room was dirty with ants covering the AC, black mold in the bathroom and the mattresses were only springs. Tiny room even with small beds. Only stayed one night - couldn’t take more than a single night.

Room itself was clean and fine for the money but it absolutely reeked of stale cigarettes.

The room was smaller than I expected
It was very tight. My husband and I could not walk in between the foot of the bed and the TV at the same time.
I believe there were people being housed by the city in this hotel.
We saw people walking from the hotel to get across the bridge to New London every day.
Construction workers may have been there as well. There were two or three large equipments in the parking lot.
Our housekeeper was very kind and attentive to the room.
Management needs to renovate and update for the price! No breakfast! Only coffee.
I believe I might have chosen a different hotel than what I was looking at.
Thanks!
