They refused to check me in after booking online for December 15 and 16. The excuse given was the system was still on December 14 at 5am on the 15th. So i canceled the booking and on the app and never got my money back. Now nobody has a record of my cancelation and I'm out hard earned money for a place i didn't even stay at. Never again will i use hotels.com

There was dirt on my bed at Red Roof Inn when I was trying to lay down and sleep. I called the front desk at 11:04pm and they said all they can do is have housekeeping change the sheets. I requested for a room change and she insisted to have the sheets changed by housekeeping. Then I called at 11:31 twice because the first time I got no answer. I asked if housekeeping was their way and she said they were and said this was the only way to fix the issue. I called again at 11:45pm and I asked can I just get a refund or a new room because I have an early day tomorrow. The lady at the front desk said the only option is clean sheets or I can come get the sheets and change them myself. I told her that this is a health issue having dirty sheets and having me touch the sheets. She told me this was the only thing to do and she already called housekeeping. So I asked for a refund. She told me I have to get it through Expedia and not them or just come get sheets. I said ma’am you know that’s not sanitary. Then she said “well you can leave then” and hung up on me. After that I got a knock on the door as I was packing and it was housekeeping coming to change all the sheets. I am so disgusted with this place!

During my stay at this hotel, there was no hot water all night. Despite repeatedly asking for updates, the staff kept saying they were “working on it,” but it became clear that no real effort was being made to resolve the issue. This lack of transparency and action made for an uncomfortable and disappointing experience. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if basic amenities like hot water are important to you.
