This Red Roof Inn is affordable, clean and comfortable for an older facility. There is a welcomed UVA hospital stay discount that is much appreciated. Front desk clerks are helpful and friendly.

The room was quite affordable. My son and I are on a Civil War trip and we arrived here late and are leaving early. The room was tidy and very clean. Everything worked. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was fair for the price.

This hotel was not up to the standards of a Red Roof Inn, or of any operational hotel chain in the world. The soap dispenser by the sink would only dispense a tiny drip of soap and the body wash dispenser in the bath tub did not work at all. The remote for the tv did not work and was covered in chocolate. When we called the front desk to tell them about the soap dispensers, they were rude and told us to use the shampoo instead. At checkout, front desk staff didn’t ask how our stay was, apparently because they do not care about customer satisfaction at all.

I liked that it was quiet and in a convenient location. I didn’t like that the grass in back was overgrown; my dog didn’t want to go near it and I was worried about ticks.
