Pet Friendly Lodging Reviews

Before saying anything else, I would like to say how nice the staff at this property was. They were all very friendly and approachable and were ready to answer our questions whenever we had them. The property is located within long walking distance or short driving distance to restaurants and shopping. They are very close to a Petsmart as well, so if your pet has any needs during your stay, you won't be at a loss. There isn't a lot of space on the property for dogs to relieve themselves; there are a few small grassy areas that are part of the parking lot landscaping and one slightly larger patch of grass with a poop bag station and a trash can at one end of the property. It would have been nice to have a few more trash cans around to deposit full poop bags, since I'd rather not deposit them inside the property. The property backs up to a nice neighborhood and I felt safe walking my dog there, even in early morning and late night hours. I booked two rooms here, one with two queen beds and another with a king bed and sofa bed. The Extended Stay properties are all supposed to be non-smoking, but the king suite had a cigarette smell that never went away, even when we left windows open to air the room out. All of my luggage, clothing, and my dog's bedding smelled like cigarettes when I got home. There are some signs of disrepair; we noticed a crack in the bathroom door and the toilet paper holder was broken. The microwave oven did not heat, even at 100% power. The refrigerator was clean and worked well. Be aware that the property does not have amenities--no pool or gym. You can request dishes and silverware for your room, but the room is not stocked with pots or pans, utensils, or dish soap to wash your dishes. If you just need an inexpensive stay for a time, and not a vacation stay, this property meets the need. I'd be very specific in requesting a non-smoking room, however, if that's what you want.
