It was a good stay for the price and area.

The room was very basic and definitely no-frills. It took quite a while to figure out how to get the A/C working. I tried calling the front desk for help, but the call went straight to voicemail. I eventually discovered the issue was the breaker on the power cord. There were no outlets near the nightstand, which made it impossible to use my CPAP machine or charge my phone next to the bed. There was also a lack of pillows, so I was glad we brought our own. The room did not have shampoo, and the shower amenities were lacking as well. If I had been staying more than one night, I would have been much more disappointed. That said, if you’re simply looking for a bed to sleep in for the night, it will get the job done.

It was a good stay

The hotel is next to a busy road and the window can’t block the noise at all. I was wake up at 5am.

I didn’t like that there was nothing in the rooms, they did not seem very clean either.

Great place with super easy and convenient parking! Everything was very nice and the room had pretty much anything you could need, even a nice table to eat at which was suprising and welcome. The beds were uncomfortable due to the stiffness of the mattress but not bad enough that I couldn't sleep lol I would definitely stay again! Great place :)

The room was had dirty carpet, bathroom sink was clogged, even when I checked in and immediately told them to fix it but it wasn't fixed through out my stay. I would not recommend anyone with family to stay here.

Tv was not working I call the stuff can’t do anything

We waited to check in at the front desk for almost 30 minutes. There were people ahead of us and they said they had been there for at least 15 minutes prior to us arriving. We called for someone in the back because we heard them talking and they said to wait a minute, which turned into roughly 10 minutes. When we finally got into the “no smoking” room it smelled like cigarettes, there were burn holes in the carpet, the lamp on the dresser would not turn off, we had to unscrew the light bulb.

Overall, my experience at Wxtended Stay in Pacific Heights, San Diego was quite good. The room was quite clean and I actually liked the fact that they gave what is needed and any additional you ask - that keeps the cost and hence the price down. In terms of improvements: 1. Breakfast- Too limited. Outside of oats, only sweet muffins were available to rat. That needs to be improved. 2. Need to pay more attention to their smoking policy. At times, entire groups of guys would just be smoking; and are not talking about cigarettes! That marijuana smoking brought down the experience at the property. That needs to be addressed! Overall, I was happy with the value for money. However, improvement number 2 would have to be addressed. Safe to say the following; I will choose Extended Stay again but if I experience that level of smoking again that would be it. Will have to look elsewhere.
