Super nice people and nice accommodations.
I was stranded in Amarillo due to a car accident while on the road for a vacation. No injuries, thank goodness, but my car is not drivable. I have been here at the Motel 6 West for four days now. The people here at Motel 6 West have been very sweet and kind to me. They have taken good care of me. The room was clean and comfortable and warm and had a microwave and fridge so I could manage while I was here. Not the fanciest place, but I have been comfortable while I have been here. Thank you Motel 6 West for taking good care of me!

A very popular person stayed next door (maybe he was selling a lil something). Door knocks all night, people would go in, people would leave. The possible customers (if the guy was selling something) were noisy again when they started their cars and left….this happened all night long. I don’t know any other explanation for so many guests through the night in an hotel room. Also, a broken down mini van was just in the parking lot with luggage on its roof all day and night.

While driving from Missouri to California, we stopped just for the night. The mattress felt like it had old springs, the vent didn’t have a cover so we couldn’t direct the air.
The bathroom seemed old but clean.
The girl at the desk was very helpful and sweet.
The food across the street was authentic Mexican and delicious.
For a night stop it was just fine.

The room was clean. It could use some minor improvements such as paint scuffs and dings on walls. The bath towels were quite small and scratchy. Bed sheets had holes in them. But, most importantly, the staff was kind and the room was clean.

I didn’t even end up staying. There were large dogs laying outside, people yelling things at me as I drove by and blocking the stairs to the room I was going to.
