Enjoyed my stay at Motel 6. The manger was very helpful.

It was most unsatisfactory!!!! I booked this stay by the photos shown in the Hotels.com booking site. That is not what I received. My room was not clean, I had no bed cover as pictured, and the front desk informed me, they don’t service the rooms until Sundays. There were no wash clothes, the sink faucet barely released any water and it was not hot. It was horrible and there were no resolutions. I was tired from traveling so I just made do. However, I will never stay here again. Foot note: I was told to come to the front desk and pick up towels and a trash bag. 😞. Never again!!!!!!!!

Overall it was pretty grim. The hotel smells of smoke and is quite run down. We stayed only one night before an early morning flight and booked here because it offers a 24 hr shuttle. The shuttle did not arrive at the advertised time (every 30 minutes on the hour) because 'it was full'. It then only runs to the domestic terminal so we needed another shuttle to the international terminal. While we were waiting for the shuttle at 4:30am people kept walking intoi the hotel off the street banging on doors and being generally hostile. I must commend the staff who dealt with the disruptions with skill and grace. We experienced similar noise throughout the night during our stay on the 6th floor - people noise from the car park, the street and inside the hotel. A positive was the Louisiana Bistreaux alongside where we had a fantastic creole meal.

To my surprise, there was a $7.50 fee to park in the hotel lot that was mostly empty. No coffee or tea facilities in room and no coffee in the common area after early morning.

Clean room close to airport, free coffee, staff very helpful. Airport shuttle was available, free parking.

I like and love it

The main reason I chose this hotel was for the free pets. It is a dated hotel, there were constantly people outside standing there that didn’t stay there, and the police were called there often. The shower didn’t get hot, the beds were like sleeping on rocks and hay, and there is no breakfast option or coffee. The room was clean but dated. There were cigarette burns in the sheets, the ceiling was basically plastered together in some places, and the air didn’t get cold. Thank God we were out of the room 98% of the time and mainly used the room to just sleep. If you are looking for a relaxing room this is not your stay most definitely, but if you are looking for free pets and just somewhere to lay your head it will pass. I would stay again but just because pets are free. The parking is keyed by your hotel room so not everyone can park there, that was a bit of an added bonus.
