This property cost me $150 for one night and our room smelled like pot and it was filthy. I thought about buying post-it notes to mark all the areas for the cleaning people (like the booger stuck to the wall below the light switch). Apparently all the price of all hotels in the area were super inflated because FEMA was in town because of the hurricanes a month ago or so. This should have been a $40 room.

We booked this for 1 night and just needed a place to sleep so we didn’t want to spend a lot. Wished we would have spent the extra money and stayed elsewhere. The floors were dirty and super sticky. There were small curly hairs in the sink, thinking from the bottom half of someone. There was a wad of gum with other things in it on the floor next to the bed. My husband walked around the room with his socks on and his socks looked like he walked around outside for a mile. Absolutely disgusting. The door knob going into the room was sticky. The toilet seat had urine on it and streaks of feces. PAY THE EXTRA MONEY AND STAY ELSEWHERE.

It was ok. checking in was nice and easy ,good condition rooms but room was not fully clean -dirty floor and shower ,WiFi was not working the entire trip.

I specifically requested a first floor room several months ago when booked the stay. Explained husband is on oxygen and cannot climb stairs or walk far. They put us in a 2nd floor room some distance from the elevator.
Then, required IDs on all 3 of us. Have NEVER been asked that.
THEN they couldnt run my card because the card machine wasnt working.
We stayed elsewhere. Had my handicapped husband in tears.
We have stayed in lots of Motel 6's, and this one twice before, and have NEVER been teeated like this. Never again.

I have low expectations for a Motel 6. This accommodation is cheap and convenient, which is what you should expect when booking this location. The room I booked smelled of smoke and I had to deodorize it myself with a fabric refresher I keep in my car.
