When I opened the door to the room and turn the light on a couple of dozen cockroaches the size of my thumb were already in my bed. The owner would not let me refund the room and when I called Motel 6 corporate they told me it’s completely up to the owner sorry about my luck. Would not stay again ever

Very disappointed.
The room was not in good shape but we figured we were only staying one night. Brought our bags in and went to dinner. When we returned there were cockroaches crawling on the floor.
We informed the person at the desk who said she would refund our money.
However since we booked with Hotels.com we we were not given our full amount!! About 20$ less.
Had to find another hotel for the night.
Won’t be going to Motel 6 again.

No bathtub, shower stall only with warm water, not hot. Towels the thickness of a tissue and not large enough to wrap around me. Strange smell in the room, not sure what air freshener they use. Promised me a 1st floor room over the phone but when I arrived 2nd floor only available. I'm 82 and lugging a suitcase up a flight of stairs isn't easy. I wouldn't stay there again if it was free.

There was a hole in the corner of the floor in the bathroom. The tv sounded like it was hallf underwater. The beds are very old and uncomfortable. There is no microwave or mini fridge. The entire building smelled like Marijuana. The toilet lid was held on with only one screw. One of the buttons for the lights over the beds was broken part of the way into the wall
