Motel 6 Simple accommodations. Except hot water took awhile to heat up.

Clientele is a little sketchy

The bathroom in our room was dirty and the hot water did not work. There were also cockroaches spotted in our room.

I don’t typically stay in this type of accommodation but I had to be geographically located for the time being. I made the reservation in the evening due to last min planning. I arrived and noticed select individuals on the premises that did not appear to be patrons. trespassers on private property is typically not tolerated. I went to check in and was very transparent about my request to get a room that was somewhat quiet. After I received the key to the room I realized that I had a room that was upstairs and was in middle of the hallway where I saw people hanging out outside on both ends of the building. I went back in to ask for another location that was downstairs and opposite from the high traffic areas. I then went to the second room and when I walked in the room it was pitch black dark. I tried to turn on lights but there was no power in the room. Nothing turned on. I went back to the office to get another room. The third room was behind the office next to laundry facilities (which were out of order). I able to take my belongings into the room without feeling like I was being stalked by people in staring at me while I unloaded my vehicle. The location was reasonably quiet. The room appeared to be clean until I used cleaning supplies of my own. Thankfully I had Bleach wipes and Lysol spray. The bed was not comfortable. I also noticed black spots on the ceiling directly above the shower. I paid for 2 night stay and noticed the spots on 2nd day.
