At checkin I was given a great tasting chocolate chip cookie and welcomed. From beginning to end the staff were kind, helpful and caring. One staff member named Michael was extra helpful and truly focused on great customer service. The rooms are clean, fresh smelling and very generous in size with a complete and full kitchen. No carpet, fresh, clean and seems like a brand new, never stayed in hotel. There’s an area off from the checking desk with a coffee machine with regular or decaf at no charge, ice machine and an area with snack items. A few steps in the parking lot is a Panda and a coffee shop. Walking distance from shopping, dining and all you need to enjoy your stay. I definitely recommend this as a great place to stay in New Bern.

Some appliances did not work, floor was so dirty my socks were black when I walked on the floor. Too expensive for such poor care. Door cards wouldn’t work, we couldn’t get help with the situation. We couldn’t leave the room together. Was not able to get a cup of coffee in the morning, had to drive just for a cup of coffee. No food options on site or in room, no tea, coffee, water, fruit or even a cookie. I would not recommend this hotel.
