I was very disappointed with my stay at Candlewood Suites Montgomery–North. When I checked into my room, it was obvious it had not been properly cleaned. I immediately went to the front desk, and the employee working was extremely apologetic. She explained there were no other rooms available and that she would have to clean the room herself. She appeared to be the only employee on duty, and I felt so bad for her that I actually helped her clean my own room before I could stay in it. No paying guest should ever have to help prepare their room after checking in. I want to make it clear that this review is not about the front desk employee. She was kind, professional, and did everything she could with the resources she had. She deserves recognition for her customer service and was clearly doing the best she could in a difficult situation. Unfortunately, despite contacting both the hotel and Expedia afterward, I was unable to receive a refund. The lack of cleanliness and the way this situation was handled by management left me extremely disappointed. I hope management takes this seriously, improves housekeeping standards, and ensures employees have the support they need so future guests don’t have the same experience.

We booked a room approximately a month before our stay.i called the hotel the day of check in and was told they oversold the property and I no longer had a room/reservation. My family of five was left without a reservation or room at candlewood

Plenty of shoping and resturaunts nearby. Hotel was clean room was nice staff was friendly and helpful

I arrived really late driving from 3 states away, the lady at the front desk was super nice already had me checked in and room key waiting. Room was clean, will definitely stay again.
