My Favorite New York Hotel
I live in New York and my best friend from childhood comes up from Washington DC a few times a year to visit go to Broadway, listen to music and enjoy outstanding food. The Intercontinental is always our hotel of choice. It’s a hokey line, but they really do make us feel like family. This last trip was to celebrate my birthday, the lovely host at the desk, Caroline, upgraded us, gave us credit for two drinks and to my surprise that first evening sent up a little cake. We look forward to going back in a couple more months.

I loved my stay here!! Will be coming back. The staff is elite in every department. I used to work for St. Regis and Fairmont and I know service when I see it! For that reason, it is hard to impress me- but Intercontinental has their shot together! Everyone is impeccably trained and has an amazing attitudes. Bravo! The brunch is bomb as well! Drinks were YUMMY. Bed was COMFY

Everything at the Intercontinental was great. The staff was warm and inviting, the room was as kept very cleaning but there was one small issue. The towels were desperately needing to be replaced. Several of them were actually thread barren. I expected much more lush towels.

The property was overall a very pleasant place to stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made a big difference. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything, and check-in/check-out was smooth.
The location is also a big plus — there are shops and restaurants nearby, so everything is very convenient. The atmosphere felt safe and relaxing, which is exactly what you want during a trip.
If I had to mention something to improve, it would be that some areas could use a bit of updating, and at times it could get slightly noisy. But overall, it didn’t take away from the experience.
I would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to others.
