They had a pride flag and a juneteenth flag in the entry foyer on a couch. I came here to sleep, nothing more.

I loved that they gave me a room with a view of Mount Rainier! The property's location was very convenient to places I wanted to visit.

You are paying 4 star prices for a 1 star experience. I normally love Holiday Inn Express, but this is my second terrible stay at this hotel. On this trip we got stuck with the ADA room which was terrible and nonfunctional for people without disabilities. We enter this ground floor room had the exterior window unlocked and open to the outside. Shower water pressure frequently goes to zero. The ADA apparatus in this room slams down on you in the shower and basically makes it un-usable to people with legs. In the name of being environmental Holiday Inn has removed not only the coffee maker from the room, but also drinking glasses and the alarm clock! They make every effort to not provide any cleaning or fresh towels even, but they sure put the reminder for you to tip their cleaning staff front and center. About the cleaning staff that they implore you to tip; in the prior stay at this hotel over Christmas 2025 we'd return to find our room smelling of fresh cigarette smoke each day. It smelled terrible and we were suffering from head colds at the time. On our final day on that trip we caught the cleaner trying to enter the room mid afternoon for one of these smoke breaks despite us having the Do Not Disturb/Do not service sign up for the entire stay.

We have stayed here multiple times and each time has been a wonderful experience. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean.
