In the midst of a renovation and still made me comfortable.
It took a bit to find the temporary lobby, but it could have been due to the fact that I was exhausted, it was late and my patience was shot. I called the front dest and the front desk personnel was kind and explained in detail how to find the lobby. I completely drove past the signage multiple times. The room was nicer that I expected. The bed was super comfortable. And the efficiently kitchen was perfect. Would highly recommend the Holiday Inn and Suites Santa Maria by IHG.

Didn’t know I would be charged for parking in the hotel parking lot. Why? There is nothing around for amusement?
The bed was comfortable, nice to have a coffee maker with coffee pods and a kitchen area. Lots of space in room. The hotel is very worn down throughout the hallways and elevators. They offer free earplugs by night stand. I realized why! Hallway noise is like a sound tunnel my little dog barked all night long and it was terrible. I can hear my neighbors talking on their phones. Not a good resting experience after a 4 hour drive from San Francisco East Bay Area.

The location and pricing were great. The sofa had blood stain on it. We had to turn the cushion over. Mattresses was worn out. Both sides sunk in. The room smelled like you were in an old home or a thrift store. It was very loud due to the remodel on the other side of the building. I hope it gets done with the remodel soon.

They "oversold" their accessible accommodations. Not a happy camper. Didn't get to take a shower. Bummed. Never mentioned renovations at the time of my booking. To their credit, they upgraded me to a suite and waived the parking fee, But all I needed was a bed and a shower.
