Inexpensive clean comfortable
We have stayed twice this year. It is everything we need. Proprietors are friendly and helpful. Close to everything. Love the back door to small lake. Beautiful to watch the birds especially during migration. Bring your camp chair to sit out and read, sunbathe, or BBQ.

About what you'd expect for the rate. Clean, comfortable. Great for a place to sleep, shower, and store your stuff. I didn't spend much time there. The view of the lake, however, was phenomenal!

Looks like it's probably a family run motel. Person in the front office was very polite and friendly. They gave me a nice room. I think all the rooms have nice lake views. The room was dated , but it was clean and in order and could repair.
I thought this was a very good value.

Check in was challenging. First, they could not find my reservation, then could not assign me a room. The first person could not get the computer system to work, so a second person stepped in to help, and finally a third person before they just gave up and gave me another room.
All the material says the office is open 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. NOT TRUE. I can't speak to being open to 9:00 pm, but they certainly are not open at 7:00 am. I went to the office at about 8:40 am fully expecting it to be open IT WAS NOT. I don't need a full time office, but at least be open when you say you will be, and certainly by 8:40 am.

I love to stay here because of the lake view. It is so peaceful and tranquil.
