Wonderful stay at an original 60’s like motel that we stayed in back then. Owners greeted us - locally owned not a franchise. Very personable. Rooms are furnished with vintage 60’s but new beds, ac and smart tv. Clean and we slept great. Would stay there again. Even received a bag of goodies at checkout. Unique place with a couple trying to make a go of it and they’re doing a good job.

This property was a great place to stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and is in a great location on Route 66. We had dinner at nearby Roosters, which was an interesting place with very good food. The owners are a nice couple and very engaging. They provided a to-go bag breakfast which was just what we needed to start the day. I highly recommend this motel if you are passing through Vega.

Exactly what you'd expect in a small town walk up motel. Good coffee, nice packed bag breakfast with good fruits. The Rooster Mexican restaurant nearby was quaint and food delicious. Town itself route 66 appropriate!
