Company did a great job at redecorating by painting the outside and updating the décor within the rooms, but the beds with the springs and metal frame were very uncomfortable. If you are use to sleeping on a memory foam bed, instead of spring. I recommend you try Holiday Day Inn and Suites.

We have stayed here multiple times. But this last time we did not have a good experience. The first room was dirty, had dead bug on the bed, and the shower was never cleaned out. Had stuff in it. We come there because it has been convenient to Hampden-Sydney. But we will find another place.

Beware the lack of maintenance and deficient grounds keeping and housekeeping at this place. They clearly don’t care about maintaining and cleaning.

The beds were very comfortable. The floors had crumbs all along the edge of the base boards- in the entire room. The bathrooms had chipping paint in the bath tub. The floors were so dirty we had to wear shoes unless we were in bed. The room next to us had hardcore pot smokers even though the rooms are non-smoking.

Gross!

Front desk staff was very good. Breakfast was terrible: see-through coffee, toaster did not work for toast or bagels, just cold and hot cereal, juice machine broken. Room was missing hand towels, Kleenex, toilet paper. Paint peeling off bathtub walls. Counter not clean. Housekeeping threw bed together. Did not seem to care about the little things for a pleasant stay.second room where other family stayed also missed needed items. Will try hard to remember not to book this place again.

The room looked like it had new LVP tile but whoever did the tile was awful. There was half inch and quarter inch gaps between the tiles. The bathroom door looked like it been roughed up where people had scraped along it, etc. but it looked recently painted the eye hole on the front door. The glass was missing so people that were next-door outside smoking the smoke would come in through that hole and the weatherstripping at the bottom of the door was missing so we could smell the smoke come in through that the linens were clean the room was you know clean so that wasn’t an issue? I have photos if needed. I probably won’t come back to this days and again the staff was very nice and very helpful. We only had one set of towels, but we asked for another set and they provided it. They just need to upgrade facility.

Outside entrance. Very small rooms. My room was dirty—floors especially and linens. Weird chemical smell. Bed was comfortable enough. Fan worked. Would not recommend.
