First class get away.
Everything was 5star. Dining, accommodations and personnel were great. Enjoyed the indoor pool, walking trails, camp fire and relaxing in the library by the fireplace. The perfect getaway spot.
A wonderful getaway!
My husband and I wanted a weekend getaway so we chose this resort as a quiet retreat. Everything was wonderful, the ambiance, the staff and especially the papering from our SPA experience. Breakfast on Saturday and brunch on Sunday was great!

The Salamander is incredible in every way! The staff was beyond excellent in planning my girlfriend’s birthday weekend. They went above and beyond in making the weekend unforgettable. 5 stars doesn’t do them justice. I HIGHLY recommend the Salamander!

Beautiful architecture and design, well-appointed. Enjoyed our stay but things were very overpriced (60-minute couple’s massage was $590 with mandatory service fee/tip; $6 per 8 ounce pour of Diet Coke at the spa pool), and some things could use updating (missing tiles on jacuzzi in women’s spa).

This is a beautiful resort. The room was well appointed and very clean. The staff was friendly. Loved that you could have a car take you and pick you up to other venues in the Middleburg area.
